View this actual painting of a New York building over the course of a day. For this time-lapse work of art, the artist Geoffrey Atkin chose the place where he grew up. He began by using a paint program to illustrate the entrance at 5:00 AM. Then, for the next 24 hours, he painted over each view with another so that the building and the street in front flowed from light to dark to light again.
When you open it, the Time Painting shows the current time of day. (So it also serves as a clock!) You can also move the slider to see what the building looks like at any other time of day or night. Youll appreciate a simple street corner in a whole new way.
